The Professor Optiken Westerwald LEM 35 thermal imaging device has a new, powerful VOx detector which, in conjunction with the 35 mm manually focusable objective lens, enables a detection range of up to 1,750 m. The thermal imaging camera is similar in design to a camcorder and lies very comfortably in the hand (suitable for both right and left-handers). This makes the Westerwald LEM 35 a perfect companion for users who are looking for a compact and powerful device for large areas and observation over long distances.
The VOx detector of the LEM 35 has 384 x 288 pixels and a pixel pitch of 17 µm. An OLED color display with 1,024×768 pixels is installed to show the thermal image. This is sufficiently large to also recognize details when observing and speaking. The image transmission takes place absolutely smoothly thanks to the 50 Hertz image frequency. The thermal imaging camera is equipped with a 2.7x optical zoom and a continuously adjustable 4x digital zoom, whereby the lens focus can be adjusted manually. In addition, a laser rangefinder is integrated in the thermal imaging device with a range of up to 1,000 meters. It has a measuring accuracy of ± 1 meter. With the LEM 35 you can quickly and easily determine the distance to observed objects.
Of course, this thermal imaging camera has the standard viewer modes with which the heat sources can be displayed – black, white, and full color. In addition, the thermal imaging camera has a red and green mode, as well as the hot-spot display. The video image can be transmitted and recorded to Android or IOS devices (using the app) using the WiFi function (range = 50 m) or to suitable end devices using the supplied USB cable. In addition, the Westerwald LEM 35 has an integrated memory of 32 GB, which offers enough space for your photos and video recordings.
The Professor Optiken Westerwald LEM 35 thermal imaging camera is robustly manufactured, waterproof and protected against dust (IP protection class: IP 67). The thermal imaging optics has a ¼ inch tripod connection. The integrated lithium-ion battery has a running time of up to 8 hours and can be conveniently charged with the supplied USB cable.
